Human Resources Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team in the Distribution Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for managing administrative HR functions, ensuring accurate payroll processes and attendance tracking for Team Members.
Key Responsibilities- Process weekly payroll, including pre-close, pay report review, overtime & labor reporting, payroll submission, paycheck adjustments, accumulated hours book and vacation/holiday tracking to guarantee Team Members receive accurate pay.
- Manage attendance tracking of both tardies and absence incidents of all Team Members, maintaining documentation of attendance write-ups along with proper disposition of medical documents and doctor's excuses to ensure accurate records are retained for the store's reference.
- Assist with Team Members' issues, including leaves of absence, payroll discrepancies, contacting the Team Member relations specialist with complaints/concerns and coordination of unemployment documentation and witnesses for hearings.
- Assist HR Dept. with addressing concerns, investigations and executing disciplinary actions as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A solid understanding of HR legislation, attendance systems, and the use of HR software like Workday and Kronos.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
This is an on-site work model position, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm, located at 2500 Lovi Road, Freedom, PA 15042.
