Radiation Oncology Specialist

Baptist Health Medical Group is actively seeking a Board-Certified and Fellowship-Trained Radiation Oncologist to enhance our esteemed Cancer Center. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment.
The current team includes another full-time Radiation Oncologist, a full-time APRN specialized in radiation oncology, and a variety of support staff such as skilled radiation therapists, nurses, and medical assistants. Our facility is equipped with onsite physics and hybrid dosimetrist support, along with essential services provided by social workers, dieticians, and clinical trials.
Our Cancer Program holds accreditation from the Commission on Cancer and is pursuing additional recognition through the ACR, ensuring high standards of care.
In the near future, the Radiation Oncology department will transition to a state-of-the-art Cancer Center, featuring:
- Two linear accelerators (1 Halcyon and 1 Trubeam)
- An HDR suite
- Space for a third linear accelerator
The new facility will house the Radiation Oncology clinic and therapy on the first floor, alongside a resource center and a therapy center focused on speech and lymphedema therapies. Additional support services will include an in-house specialty retail pharmacy staffed by oncology residency-trained pharmacists.
On the upper level, there will be designated areas for medical oncologists, an oncology clinic, and an infusion center, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients.
Support services available include dietary assistance, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cancer registry, and specialized navigation for breast and lung cancer.
