Radiation Oncology Specialist

Baptist Health Medical Group is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist with fellowship training to enhance our Cancer Center. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a well-established environment.
The current team includes another full-time Radiation Oncologist, a full-time APRN specialized in radiation oncology, and a robust support staff comprising experienced radiation therapists, nurses, and medical assistants. The center is equipped with onsite physics and hybrid dosimetrist support, as well as essential services such as social work, dietary consultation, clinical trials, and therapy support.
Our Cancer Program holds accreditation from the Commission on Cancer and is pursuing additional recognition through the ACR, ensuring a high standard of care.
In the near future, the Radiation Oncology department will transition to a new state-of-the-art Cancer Center, featuring:
- Two linear accelerators (1 Halcyon and 1 Trubeam)
- An HDR suite
- Designated space for a third linear accelerator
The first floor will house the Radiation Oncology clinic and therapy services, alongside a resource center and a Therapy center focused on speech and lymphedema therapies. Additional support includes an in-house specialty retail pharmacy staffed by oncology residency-trained pharmacists.
On the upper level, there will be dedicated space for medical oncologists, an oncology clinic, and an infusion center, ensuring comprehensive cancer care.
Support services encompass dietary, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cancer registry, and navigation for breast and lung cancer patients.
