Radiation Oncology Specialist

Baptist Health Medical Group is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist with fellowship training to enhance our esteemed Cancer Center. This role is situated within a well-established healthcare environment, offering the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals.
The current team includes another full-time Radiation Oncologist, a radiation oncology trained Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), and a variety of support staff, including skilled radiation therapists, nurses, and medical assistants. The facility boasts onsite physics and hybrid dosimetrist support, alongside essential services such as social work, nutrition, clinical trials, and therapy support.
Our Cancer Program holds accreditation from the Commission on Cancer and is in the process of pursuing additional recognition through the American College of Radiology (ACR).
In the near future, the Radiation Oncology department will transition to a state-of-the-art Cancer Center, featuring advanced equipment including two linear accelerators and an HDR suite. The new facility will also house a resource center, therapy center focused on specialized therapies, and an in-house specialty pharmacy managed by oncology residency-trained pharmacists.
Additional support services encompass dietary, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cancer registry, and navigation services for breast and lung cancer.
