About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Receivables Clerk to join our team at Silvi Concrete Products, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and reconcile production data to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain Excel logs and digital backup files for accounts receivable
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales teams to resolve billing issues
  • Review invoice registers for accuracy and prepare and disburse invoices and statements
  • Reconcile accounts receivable and customer account issues
  • Assist with month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate posting of accounts receivable entries
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting preferred
  • General understanding of accounting flow to general ledger
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn industry-specific accounting software
  • Excellent computer skills and social skills to work with internal and external customers/contacts
Physical Demands
  • Lift 20 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds on occasion
  • Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, or crawl
  • Hear sounds and recognize differences between them
  • See details of objects less than a few feet away
  • See differences between colors, shades, and brightness
