SERVICE SUPPORT ASSOCIATE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Support Associates play a crucial role in ensuring that essential tools are stocked to assist the service team and maintain restaurant efficiency. They may also assist with coffee preparation and dishwashing tasks as needed. Success in this role requires teamwork, organization, and situational awareness.


KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Communicate effectively in English to understand and execute job requirements based on written and verbal instructions.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining composure in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Work in confined and crowded spaces with varying noise and temperature levels.
  • Lift and transport items weighing up to 10 pounds regularly, with the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Safely operate all necessary tools and equipment.
  • Stand and walk for the duration of the shift, navigating safely through all areas of the restaurant, including stairs and uneven surfaces.
  • Accessibility may vary by location.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Availability to work various hours, days, and shifts, including weekends.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Transport soiled dishes to the designated area according to restaurant standards.
  • Polish and stock all utensils, glassware, and dishware from the dishwashing area to service stations throughout the restaurant.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at each service station during the shift, adhering to zoning and par levels.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handwashing practices.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of all required tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and employment conditions as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
