Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare solutions for analysts and maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment.
  • Conduct sampling and testing of micro and environmental monitoring, and participate in additional support activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies' requirements and company standards.
  • Develop knowledge of functional area policies and procedures, and perform routine testing and sampling functions in the microbiology laboratory.
  • Develop an understanding of applicable current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, laboratory processes and procedures, and good documentation practices (GDPs).
  • Maintain all training requirements for assigned tasks and work independently or in a team environment to meet or exceed established objectives and quality performance indicators.
  • Understand established internal and external customer expectations and maintain effective communication pathways.
  • Contribute to projects as assigned and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Know, understand, and comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required.
  • Associates Degree or higher in a Science-related field or study preferred.
  • Prior lab experience is preferred.
  • Prior cGMP and basic science background.
  • Experience with microbiology: environmental monitoring.
  • Experience in an education setting is suitable.
