Role Overview:

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be tasked with diagnosing and managing a wide array of acute and chronic health issues affecting patients across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. This role offers the chance to cultivate meaningful patient relationships and deliver tailored, holistic healthcare aimed at fostering overall wellness and preventing diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care:
    • Conduct comprehensive medical histories, physical examinations, and evaluations.
    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and injuries.
    • Formulate and execute personalized treatment plans.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
    • Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings.
    • Oversee and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
  2. Patient Education:
    • Inform patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
    • Provide lifestyle counseling, including dietary and exercise advice.
    • Clarify treatment options and potential side effects to patients.
  3. Collaboration:
    • Work alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurses, specialists, and support personnel.
    • Refer patients to specialists as needed and coordinate comprehensive care.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.
  4. Documentation:
    • Maintain precise and current electronic medical records (EMRs).
    • Document patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Adhere to evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines.
    • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
  • Valid medical license.
  • DEA registration.
