This pivotal role entails overseeing and supporting a suite of applications utilized by the HR department for their operational needs. The incumbent will have comprehensive responsibility for the architecture, support, maintenance, deployment, and improvement of the HR application portfolio. The HR Technology Solutions Manager will ensure that all solution designs align with business requirements as well as IT design and security protocols. The manager will cultivate and inspire their team to foster innovation, deliver high-quality solutions, and operate efficiently while collaborating with cross-functional IT and business partners to meet the team's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

The HR Technology Solutions Manager will lead a team of Analysts and Developers, while also leveraging an offshore Managed Services team to drive business outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with the offshore support team to ensure the highest quality of support for the HR department while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Build, motivate, and lead a skilled team of Analysts and Developers, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion HCM.

• Partner with business and key IT stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and schedule application development and enhancement requests, providing direction and guidance to the development team.

• Deep understanding of business processes and data flows related to HR functionalities.

• Analyze high-level objectives and lead the team through requirements gathering and solution design independently.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive implementation plan for agreed-upon solution designs.

• Manage small to medium-sized projects and enhancements through a standardized Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.

• Oversee production and operational support activities for HR applications, whether through a Managed Service partner or internal analysts and developers.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT partners to execute production or operational support and enhancements/projects.

• Establish robust design principles that align with overall company and IT standards and security; ensure governance is in place to uphold these principles.

• Ensure compliance with all security and compliance standards across all responsible applications and functionalities.

• Grasp all aspects of configuration and integration for the applications under management.

• Ensure timely execution of patches and releases; establish appropriate recovery, backup, and archiving strategies.

• Demonstrate a passion for technology and a commitment to learning and implementing new technologies to benefit the business.

• Maintain a hands-on technical approach while also fulfilling team management responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience managing teams in an ERP environment (HCM and/or Finance).
  • 5+ years of experience leading Oracle Fusion HCM support and/or implementation teams.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM configuration and integration across various modules (Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, Time & Labor, etc.).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with business partners at various levels and manage relationships with vendors/consultants.
  • Expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design and development, vendor management, and enterprise application support.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Managed Service partners, both offshore and nearshore.
  • Proven track record in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze problems or requirements, break them down, and derive detailed requirements.
  • Knowledge of HR business processes.
  • Ability to visually represent business process flows, data flows, and other architectural diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Collaborative approach to working with business and IT partners.
  • Effective communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
