We are seeking a seasoned Senior Roadway Engineer/Project Manager to contribute to our Southeast Region operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in business development and marketing with FDOT and local agencies.
  • Build and enhance roadway design practices.
  • Oversee plan reviews and project management for FDOT and local municipalities.
  • Organize project activities, schedules, and reporting.
  • Prepare, issue, and track essential project documentation including contracts and change orders.
  • Draft correspondence and documents for clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist with invoicing and purchase orders; liaise with external resources as necessary.
  • Prepare and edit meeting minutes and presentations.
  • Support project submittals and bidding processes.
  • Provide technical and administrative assistance to the project team.
  • Market to local municipal clients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Over 20 years of relevant experience in roadway design.
  • Proven ability to meet DOT expectations, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Experience with FDOT is essential.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Familiarity with DOT design methodologies, plan preparation, standards, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated success in managing medium to large-scale projects, including multi-office and multiple project environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and client liaison capabilities.
  • Proficiency in OpenRoads preferred; Geopak expertise is mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
