Job Opportunity

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Test to join our team in support of a large Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) nationwide program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test automation strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium and other tools to identify and resolve defects.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to improve the development pipeline and ensure seamless integration.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test plans and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and software development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in automated software development and testing.
  • Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python and experience with Selenium and other automation tools.
  • Experience with EDI and financial transaction systems is a plus.

Security Clearance: Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this opportunity.
