Job Summary

As a key member of the Compass Group USA team, the Maintenance/Safety Technician will oversee all fire safety documents under the direction of the Unit Director/Fire Safety Assistant Director. This role requires a strong understanding of fire and life safety policies, as well as the ability to implement and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Participate in event walk-throughs to identify potential fire hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of fire safety training and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement corrective action plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
