Maintenance/Safety Specialist

As a key member of the Compass Group USA team, the Maintenance/Safety Technician will oversee all fire safety documents under the direction of the Unit Director/Fire Safety Assistant Director. This role requires a strong understanding of fire and life safety policies, as well as the ability to implement and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Participate in event walk-throughs to identify potential fire hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of fire safety training and documentation.
- Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement corrective action plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
