The Fleet Operations Coordinator will engage in a diverse role that necessitates daily collaboration with LAS personnel and our Dedicated Carrier Providers (DCP). This position will act as the intermediary between the DCP and various external vendor partners to address their operational requirements. The selected candidate will be an integral part of the LAS team, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional fleet management services for over 2,000 units of equipment across the nation.

Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Management Duties:
- Deliver fleet management services to DCPs based on assigned regions.
- Support DCPs in overseeing their daily maintenance operations, including invoice verification, compliance monitoring, and repair scheduling.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that enable DCPs to manage equipment maintenance effectively.
- Maintain partnerships with national vendors that provide essential maintenance and repair services.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of DCP preventive maintenance and fleet performance metrics.
- Help DCPs manage all relevant cost categories efficiently.
- Assist in planning DCP equipment activities aimed at cost reduction.
- Build relationships with local maintenance and repair facilities.
- Establish strong connections with each DCP through daily communication and regular site visits, acting as the liaison between LAS and the client to resolve fleet-related issues.
- Support effective fleet management data analysis and system upkeep.
Fleet Administration Duties:
- Participate in weekly or bi-weekly vendor relationship calls.
- Engage in weekly equipment review discussions.
- Review invoices exceeding a predetermined threshold as set by the Department Lead.
- Assist with equipment orders and market reviews.
- Travel to dock locations to assess vendors outside the standard full-service lease model.
- Visit local vendor shops to evaluate significant repairs.
- Support DCPs with mileage compliance and equipment route adjustments.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time role; typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., averaging hours per week, with occasional evening or weekend work as required by business needs.
Travel Requirements:
This position necessitates approximately 25% travel.
Required Qualifications:
- Preferred candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of prior fleet or shop experience.
- Knowledgeable in fleet service challenges and preventive maintenance compliance (3-5 years).
- Familiarity with fleet management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of quality control processes, procedures, and relevant legal standards.
- Customer service-oriented mindset, capable of serving both internal and external clients.
