Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Security Analyst 3 to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. As a key member of our security program, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and government security regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS)
  • Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel
  • Prepare, track, and monitor DD254's forms for subcontractors
  • Understand and implement Title 32 CFR Part 117, SEAD3 reporting requirements
  • Process mandatory self-reporting from program personnel to various customers
  • Review all personnel security paperwork for accuracy, completion, and submission
  • Create, execute, and monitor HII Mission Technology program policies, procedures, and practices
  • Provide guidance and instructions to employees on security procedures
  • Conduct security trainings, briefings, and debriefings
  • Manage, protect, and safeguard all classified materials
  • Maintain visitor control functions and verify visit authorization requests
  • Prepare reports and presentations for all levels of Management

Requirements:

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
  • Top Secret clearance and a CI poly completed within the five years
  • Strong knowledge of the NISPOM and the aspects specific to the execution of the Industrial Security Program
  • Ability to work from an HII facility
  • Ability to respond to alarm calls within 90 minutes
  • Knowledge and experience enforcing security policies and procedures
  • Ability to capture fingerprints electronically
  • Experienced in the management of a cleared facility
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Facility Security Officer Program Management for Possessing Facilities certificate of completion
  • Establishing an Insider Threat Program Course certificate completion

Physical Requirements:

Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the discipline. Office work environment.
