Job Title: Security Manager

At Sam's Town Casino, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our security department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Security department and Valet/Transportation department.
  • Formulate and enforce consistent application of departmental and company policies and procedures, including emergency response procedures.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and maintain company vehicles.
  • Provide management, direction, and leadership to security department staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, evaluating, and discharging.
  • Supervise, perform, and respond to routine or emergency duties requiring moderate to strenuous physical exertion.
  • Assume supervisory control of the department in the absence of the Director of Security.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required and/or preferred.
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in Security and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of security and safety procedures and regulations.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Physical aspects of the job may include walking and standing for extended periods of time and responding to emergency situations requiring the exertion of moderate to strenuous physical exertion.
  • Must be able to walk stairs.
  • Good driving record.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
