We are seeking a Laboratory Account Manager for the Midlands & Northwestern Region within our ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD). This role involves crafting and executing strategic account plans collaboratively, aimed at driving sustained growth in our PhadiaTM allergy and autoimmunity product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand existing business within the Allergy & Autoimmune sector by initiating the sales process through scheduled meetings, initial presentations, and a consultative selling approach to understand client needs.
- Develop, implement, and keep current account plans and customer information in SFDC, collaborating closely with Marketing, Clinical, Technical Services, and Application Specialist teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate logging of all activities and meetings.
- Manage and negotiate contracts, including capital sales and service agreements, in coordination with the Contracts & Tender and Technical Service teams.
- Lead tender responses within your territory, engaging with primary Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and conducting regular site visits and business reviews.
- Actively participate in forecasting and planning activities utilizing Thermo Fisher Diagnostics tools.
- Support Cost Per Reportable (CPR) customers and perform stock assessments.
- Establish and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across your territory.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Ensure adherence to internal Quality Processes.
- Attend both internal and external meetings and events.
- Engage in a customer-facing role, with expectations of spending 50-75% of your time in direct customer interactions, requiring travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, such as Biomedical Science.
- Experience in Laboratory/Pathology Sales and/or IVDR product knowledge.
