Position Overview:

The Sales Tester Associate plays a vital role in showcasing a deep understanding and passion for the brand, ensuring that every customer enjoys a memorable and engaging shopping experience. This position requires a positive demeanor and a commitment to service excellence in every customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates a warm and inviting atmosphere as customers enter or leave the store.
  • Responds promptly to customer inquiries and needs.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assists customers in locating, checking availability, and selecting merchandise.
  • Utilizes fundamental selling techniques to engage with customers effectively.
  • Introduces current promotions, sales, and brand initiatives to foster customer loyalty.
  • Adheres to the Company’s Customer FIRST model, which includes Friendly Greeting, Identifying Needs, Responding, Suggesting and Styling, and Thanking.
  • Handles sales transactions with accuracy and maintains accountability at the registers.
  • Processes merchandise returns and exchanges in a courteous manner, following company guidelines.
  • Speaks positively about the brand, customers, and team members.
  • Demonstrates initiative, teamwork, and ownership in every interaction.
  • Maintains visual standards for the sales floor, fitting rooms, and visual displays.
  • Contributes to daily store recovery efforts before, during, or after store hours.
  • Follows company policies, procedures, and loss prevention practices diligently.
  • Shares constructive feedback and ideas with management to improve store processes.
  • Adapts to a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Provides support across all departments as needed.
  • Helps establish a customer satisfaction standard that enhances the brand's market recognition.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Preferred minimum of one year of retail sales experience and cash handling experience.
  • Must possess an energetic and charismatic personality.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to complete sales transactions using the POS register system.
  • Flexible availability to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 100% of the working time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of performing repetitive motions and various physical tasks as required.
