Overview:
The Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Service Department. This position is designed for individuals with a strong customer service background and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer inquiries and service requests efficiently.
- Utilize computer systems, including Windows applications, to track and manage service operations.
- Maintain a high level of energy and focus on customer satisfaction.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Schedule service appointments and prepare necessary documentation for invoicing.
- Perform various administrative duties to support the service team, including recording and prioritizing customer requests.
- Input and verify service requests in the system, ensuring accurate scheduling.
- Coordinate with the Service Resource Center to facilitate service calls.
- Oversee the entire service process from request initiation to completion, addressing issues as they arise.
- Reassign tasks based on workload and urgency, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding the status of their service requests.
- Address customer complaints professionally and seek resolutions, involving management when necessary.
- Ensure timely invoicing of completed service calls, adhering to established timelines.
- Safeguard customer and company information, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Manage inventory and supplies necessary for service operations, including sourcing and tracking parts.
