Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Systems Engineer with expertise in Linux, WebSphere, and WebLogic to lead our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage IBM WebSphere Portal, IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Apache Tomcat.
- Manage all aspects of multiplatform application environments, including day-to-day support, CI/CD, monitoring systems, database, and systems administration.
- Implement application server clustering, apply patches, and conduct performance tuning.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure, platform, DBAs, network, security, and Help Desk teams.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in system administration using Oracle WebLogic Server, IBM WebSphere Portal, IBM WebSphere Application Server, and Apache Tomcat.
- Strong experience in Linux (RHEL7/RHEL8) and Windows platforms.
- Proficiency in system monitoring tools, such as Splunk.
- Strong scripting skills in bash, python, jython, and jacl.
- Solid knowledge of web servers, network concepts, and load balancers.
