Salary Range: $48.00 per hour

Department Highlights:
  • Support across multiple locations within a 150-mile radius.
  • Mileage reimbursement available.
  • Additional $5 per hour for float assignments.
  • Weekend shift differential of $1.25 per hour.
  • Evening/night shift differential of $1.25 per hour for shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  • Minimum of 24 hours of work required per month.
  • One weekend rotation required each month.
  • 3 months of prior experience in Long Term Care is required; 6 months preferred.
  • No contract obligations.
Position Summary:
The Good Samaritan Society is looking for a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse to provide care across various locations. This role allows for local travel while delivering high-quality nursing services with competitive compensation, mileage reimbursement, and flexible scheduling without contractual commitments. The RN will demonstrate proficiency in nursing practices and adhere to age and population-specific standards in their clinical settings. Responsibilities include:
  • Comprehensive resident care encompassing preventative measures, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Coordination of care, conducting resident assessments, and providing education.
  • Delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
  • Adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules relevant to the state of practice.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a degree from a nationally accredited nursing program, with a preference for a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. An unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing is required, along with maintenance of necessary competencies and certifications.
