Salary Range: $48.00
Department Highlights:
- Support across multiple facilities within a 150-mile radius
- Mileage reimbursement provided
- Additional $5 per hour for float assignments
- Weekend shift differential of $1.25 per hour
- Evening/night shift differential of $1.25 per hour; 6:00pm - 6:00am
- Minimum of 24 hours of work required per month
- One weekend rotation required monthly
- 3 months of prior experience in Long Term Care required, 6 months preferred
- No contract obligation necessary
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse to fulfill the role of a Travel RN. This position allows for local travel, providing care at various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius. The role offers competitive compensation, mileage reimbursement, and the freedom of no contractual commitments. The RN will demonstrate proficiency in nursing practices, adhering to age-specific standards relevant to their clinical environment. Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive care to residents across all stages of health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Coordinating resident care, conducting assessments, and delivering education.
- Performing various nursing interventions as required.
In addition, the RN may take on the role of charge nurse, delegating tasks to both licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring that all care provided meets the highest standards of safety and reliability. The position adheres to the Nurse Practice Act and relevant administrative rules.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a degree from a nationally accredited nursing program, with a preference for a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. An unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing is required, along with any necessary competencies and certifications.
