Position Overview:

As the Lead Engineer for Advanced Reactor Instrumentation and Control, you will be at the forefront of engineering excellence, guiding a dedicated team of professionals.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a group of 5-10 engineers specializing in Advanced Reactor I&C, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering services, including the design and analysis of sophisticated products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the operations of the engineering team, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, safety, reliability, and performance standards in all production processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support for product development, project execution, marketing initiatives, and sales activities.
• Ensure that the team is equipped with adequately trained and qualified personnel to implement standard programs and projects.
• Uphold safety, health, and regulatory compliance across all Westinghouse sites.
• Foster strong relationships with both internal and external customers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Guarantee that all work activities align with established Westinghouse procedures and standards.
• Maintain routine communication with management at all levels to ensure alignment and transparency.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • A proven track record of progressive leadership experience in engineering.
  • Expertise in Global Instrumentation and Control systems and products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and engineering teams.
  • A solid understanding of advanced technology products and systems.
  • The ability to analyze information, evaluate options, and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional team-building capabilities, engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
