Customer Service Representative

Are you looking for a rewarding career in customer service? U-Haul is seeking a friendly and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of U-Haul's exceptional service, ensuring that customers receive the help they need on their journeys. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with U-Haul products and services, using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, and moving and hooking up U-Haul trucks and trailers. You will also be responsible for cleaning and inspecting equipment on the lot, answering questions and educating customers regarding products and services, and preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental. Additionally, you will participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain a good driving record. You should also have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.
Physical Demands
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
