Key Responsibilities

+ Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering tasks on projects of varying scales.

+ Engage in the engineering design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including providing engineering services and overseeing construction management.

+ Manage project budgets, schedules, contractual obligations, and quality standards.

+ Develop engineering designs, prepare reports, create plans, draft specifications, and estimate costs for diverse water projects.

+ Generate technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; perform data entry and analysis, and support the construction phase of projects.

+ Supervise or coordinate the efforts of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others involved in specific assignments.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

+ 6-12 years of experience in water/wastewater projects.

+ Experience should encompass water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution projects, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning.

+ Professional Engineer registration in Texas or the ability to obtain it within six months.

+ Proficient application of engineering principles, including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.

+ Demonstrated experience in the design and construction phases of small, medium, and large water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects, with full accountability for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to effectively communicate with clients and manage project teams.

+ Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.

+ Proven ability to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

+ Experience in both design and construction phases.
