Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care, resulting in the best clinical outcomes and meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Greeting and Communication: Greet patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and the effective use of exam and treatment rooms.
  • Chart Preparation and Management: Prepare patient charts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available for our providers.
  • Patient Flow and Wait Time Management: Manage patient flow to reduce wait times, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our providers, including preparing daily schedules and maintaining a neat and orderly reception area.
  • Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance: Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of customer service experience required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Understanding of dental terminology, friendly and professional personality, basic office skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.
