Job Overview

D4C Dental Brands is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care for our young patients.

About the Role

This position involves assisting dentists and hygienists during patient procedures, preparing and sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized dental environment. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide exceptional patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists and hygienists during patient procedures, following proper protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare and sterilize equipment, instruments, and rooms according to infection control standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dental environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and D4C Dental Brands' policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • RDA Certified Dental Assistant (RDAA) certification or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a dental assistant in a pediatric setting.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Able to lift 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
