Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Texas Children's Outpatient Developmental Pediatrics West Campus Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires 1 year of professional nursing experience and current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact. EPIC experience is highly preferred. You will work in a fast-paced setting, providing direct and telephone nursing care, health teaching, patient advocacy, supervision, and coordination of care given by others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use evidence-based assessment techniques to collect pertinent patient data and develop individualized plans for health promotion, malignance, or situational problems.
  • Prioritize interventions and implement plans of care in partnership with patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals in a timely manner.
  • Conduct ongoing reassessments and revise diagnoses, expected outcomes, and implementation as needed.
