Your Role

We are seeking a Retail Operations Manager who will oversee performance management and the execution of retail operations, including merchandising, staffing, and order fulfillment processes. This role involves close collaboration with the General Manager to ensure effective business management and financial success of the dispensary.

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to strategically and tactically enhance our dispensary's patient experience. Your day may include:

  • Onboarding new team members and adjusting schedules.
  • Assisting patients with complex inquiries regarding product applications.
  • Conducting audits of inventory and cash levels.

Regardless of the task, strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence are essential as you will be working within a diverse team.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site at our dispensary. Availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year of management experience in retail, food service, or another service industry with financial responsibility.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry is a significant advantage.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities; empathy and understanding of team dynamics; experience in servant leadership.
  • A proven history of effective customer/patient interaction (5+ years preferred).
  • Capability to foster and maintain a customer-centric culture.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods.
  • Able to manage cash or card transactions with patients using an electronic processing system.
