Job Title: Senior Instrumentation Specialist

Constellation Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance training program, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for plant-specific maintenance and technical training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and conduct performance-based maintenance or technical training programs in accordance with Exelon's TSD model and department procedures.
  • Prepare trainee examinations and conduct evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments.
  • Participate in station support activities, including outage support, root cause support, and line assessment support.
  • Maintain current training programs and incorporate information gained from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports and Exelon NERs, NRC Circulars, Bulletins, and Information Notices.
  • Support station and fleet in business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, EP duties, and special projects.
  • Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits, and prepare responses to audit findings.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years of nuclear technical background or 7+ years of related industry experience
  • 2+ years in training/education
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AS/AA in science/engineering or equivalent Instrument and controls experience
  • 7+ years of nuclear power plant technical experience in Instrumentation and controls or 10+ years of related industry experience in Instrumentation and controls instruction
  • 5+ years of nuclear training experience
