Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community. As a Music Therapist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing music programs for our residents, providing a therapeutic environment that maintains their highest level of physical, social, and psychological well-being.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement music programs for residents
Provide a therapeutic environment that maintains residents' highest level of well-being
Work with residents to create personalized music programs
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or equivalent
6-month internship at a clinical training facility approved by the American Music Therapy Association
Ability to play at least one instrument with above-average proficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
