POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager in fostering a customer-centric and product-driven sales environment. This position emphasizes our core values and guiding principles in all operational aspects, including managing sales performance, safeguarding assets, and overseeing human resources functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance Management
Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement effective business and sales strategies.
Sets and communicates clear expectations, holding both the store team and themselves accountable for meeting all brand, performance, and conduct standards.
Manages payroll and supply budgets efficiently.
Oversees essential operational tasks such as scheduling, conducting shrink audits, managing physical inventory, and ensuring accuracy in payroll documentation.
Handles all financial transactions in compliance with company policies, including cash management and reporting.
Ensures adherence to all relevant laws, loss prevention policies, and operational procedures; conducts training for associates to reinforce proper protocols.
Administers all operational processes, including inventory management and daily replenishment of merchandise.
Maintains visual merchandising standards and facility upkeep that reflect the brand's image.
Fosters a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve assigned sales and productivity targets.
Provides training and coaching to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about products both online and in-store.

Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Communicates effectively with store teams and the Store Manager to lead positive changes.

Customer Engagement
Models, teaches, and promotes exceptional customer service principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
Demonstrates sales expectations by employing various techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in merchandise selection based on customer preferences.
Ensures prompt resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.
Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout experience, staying informed on policies regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.
Encourages consistent communication with clients through customer engagement initiatives.
Talent Management
Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and development of a high-performing team.
Supports and implements training programs and workshops.
Evaluates and coaches the store team on performance metrics.
Collaborates with the Store Manager to address human resources matters effectively.
Recognizes and rewards team members for exceptional performance, driving engagement.
Ensures compliance with all employment practices and policies.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in retail management preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to adapt to technology utilized by the company.
Proven track record of outstanding customer service and leadership capabilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership qualities, training, and team-building skills.
Knowledge of the administrative aspects of retail operations.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff.
Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constant walking/standing for a significant portion of the shift.
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Frequent climbing as part of job duties.
