Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at LakeHouse Senior Living. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, as well as overseeing the housekeeping and laundry operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Facilities Management
    • Supervise the maintenance of buildings, grounds, security, and mechanical assets.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program and work order system.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities are well-maintained and meet high standards.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry Operations
    • Oversee the execution of housekeeping, laundry, and transportation services throughout the community.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive housekeeping and laundry program.
    • Ensure all team members are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance and housekeeping staff.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Financial Management
    • Review and analyze financial statements to ensure budgetary compliance.
    • Develop and implement plans to address any financial discrepancies or deficiencies.
    • Process and submit monthly expenses and budget data in a timely manner.
  • Transportation and Safety
    • Ensure transportation vehicles are maintained in good working condition.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or Bachelor's/Technical degree in a related field.
    • Four years of maintenance supervision experience.
    • HVAC experience or training.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing, and related repair.
    • Experience with electrical systems, phone systems, fire panels, emergency response systems, and disaster preparedness.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities and lead a team effectively.
