Description

Rettew Associates is seeking an experienced Safety Consultant to join our dynamic Health, Safety & Environment Team. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a deep understanding of safety programs and concepts, coupled with exceptional project management and supervision skills.

As a Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, professional standards, and our company values. Collaboration with other consultants and project managers on various initiatives will be a crucial part of this role.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a genuine passion for safety. Your ability to maintain a sharp focus on the finer points will be invaluable.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Develop and implement comprehensive client/project plans

• Establish and nurture client relationships

• Facilitate productive meetings and work sessions

• Prepare accurate change orders

• Maintain effective communication and coordination with other service areas

• Efficiently manage the team billing process

Technical Expertise

• Stay abreast of advancements in multiple functional areas

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and knowledge resource

• Foster the development of subject matter experts within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety / Safety Science / Safety Management or related field

• Professional Certification (CIH, CSP, CHST) preferred

• Minimum three years experience in Safety or related field

• Experience in safety consulting preferred

• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to travel to field sites locally and overnight as necessary
