Job Title: Glass Processing Specialist

Shift: 12 hour rotating shifts. 7:15a - 7:30p or 7:15p - 7:30a

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operation: Ensure the machine is locked, print tags, and maintain attention to detail while working with glass.
  • Ribbon Processing: Operate automatic packing equipment, stack, and use overhead cranes to process the continuous ribbon. Utilize hand tools to process the ribbon into containers and handle zoning properly.
  • Assistance and Emergency Response: Assist other departments or plant personnel during emergency situations as required.
General Duties:
  • Record Keeping: Record production information as required and maintain good housekeeping.
  • Safety and Quality: Meet safety and housekeeping requirements as specified in plant and department manuals or procedures. Utilize quality improvement process requirements in all phases of job duties.
  • Team Support: Provide relief for other team members during break times and respond to changes in product mix and line flows to assist other team members in their specific duties.
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret and/or use specifications and run plans as communicated through hard copy or electronic means.
