Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Lead transportation coordination and freight operations, including carrier selection, routing, and scheduling
  • Collaborate with commercial sales teams to maintain transparency around customer experience and delivery efficiency
  • Manage and analyze key supply chain metrics, including on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and cost performance
  • Develop and maintain a robust system for tracking and analyzing key supply chain metrics
  • Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing coaching and growth opportunities
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive logistics and supply chain experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the building material industry
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and industry trends
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance required
  • MBA or master's in supply chain or logistics preferred
  • P&L experience with a minimum of $50 million
  • Transportation budget experience exceeding $100 million
