ResponsibilitiesThe primary role of the Commercial Banking Executive is to enhance and maintain profitable banking relationships within the designated area.
This position is responsible for driving revenue growth through the management of loans, deposits, and fees; evaluating loan applications and their underwriting; and ensuring effective management of commercial relationships.
Our Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Team has played a pivotal role in transforming the region's landscapes. While our loans contribute to business development, it is our relationships that foster thriving neighborhoods and communities.
Under the guidance of the Commercial Banking Executive, our lending teams consist of Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Administrators, Underwriters, and Deposit Officers.
Our CRE division specializes in interim, rehabilitation, and repositioning loans for commercial properties, including construction and renovation financing across various asset types. We also facilitate permanent loans through our FHA Multifamily Lending Platform.
Qualifications Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree or 5 additional years of relevant commercial lending experience required.
- A minimum of ten years in commercial underwriting, portfolio management, and business development.
- Proven track record of success in a corporate sales environment.
- Advanced understanding of Commercial Real Estate.
- Strong sales, marketing, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in credit principles and loan structuring.
- Ability to analyze business financial statements and assess business viability.
- In-depth knowledge of banking products and services.
- Solid grasp of accounting and finance principles.
- Experience in a leadership role with prior people management experience.
- Skills in leadership development.
- Familiarity with market dynamics.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
Preferences:
- Knowledge of C&I, ABL, SBA, and Credit/Special Assets.
- Accredited Banking School Certification in Lending or related field.
