About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your marketing expertise and drive results within the AWS Consulting Partner Marketing Center of Excellence team.

The Partner Marketing Manager for Global Consulting partners will be responsible for developing the global marketing strategy, ensuring alignment to sales plans and strategic AWS & partner objectives, and managing a budget.

They will own and actively manage the global marketing relationship with these partners, focusing on growing CMO and marketing relationships to scale and build best practices in marketing.

This role will decide investment areas of the partnership, including content creation, event planning, and program design, with the goal of achieving the highest impact and reach for each program.

The Partner Marketing Manager will also be responsible for building and agreeing upon the execution strategy, in collaboration with regional partner sales and marketing teams, other AWS marketing stakeholders, and their partners.

They will be accountable for driving alignment to a set of shared goals and KPIs across this complex stakeholder community and driving through execution both within AWS and within their partners to deliver meaningful business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop marketing strategies for assigned AWS partners
  • Build campaigns and content
  • Manage a budget (MDF)
  • Find and create new references and use cases with partners
  • Manage communication and leverage partner key value proposition in AWS-led motions
A Day in the Life

Days begin with data analysis, responding to email, attending events, and writing narratives.

The Partner Marketing Manager will work on creative pieces, social amplification plans, and collaborating with Industry teams on new campaigns.

This role utilizes a wide range of marketing skills, including data analysis, campaign execution, and stakeholder management.

Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using customer research, hard data, and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
