Job Title: Post Permanency Specialist

Bethany is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Post Permanency Specialist to join our team. As a Post Permanency Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing post-permanency services and education to families who have adopted or are formal kinship or legal custodial guardians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-home visits and assessments to ensure the well-being and stability of adoptive families.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records for Post Permanency units of service.
  • Effectively connect families to community resources and supports, while advocating for their needs and interests.
  • Provide guidance and education to adoptive families on the use of respite services and community resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of family interactions and services provided.
  • Facilitate and support adoptive family groups to foster a sense of community and connection.
  • Present BCS services to mental health provider agencies, school staff, and other professionals who work with adoptive families.
  • Attend trainings and apply newly gained knowledge to improve service provision.
  • Participate in group clinical supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Prior work experience in adoption and foster care.
  • Active or eligible for professional licensure in the state of employment.
  • Demonstrated clinical and assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state, community, and agency resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
