Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to promote Jewish knowledge and understanding among inmates.
- Provide guidance and support to inmates on Jewish practices, traditions, and customs.
- Lead worship services and other religious events to foster a sense of community and spiritual growth.
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure the needs of Jewish inmates are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local synagogues and Jewish organizations to provide resources and support.
- Ordination certification or equivalent from a recognized Jewish institution.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree and Rabbinical Accreditation from a Jewish School of Theology.
- Proven experience in pastoral ministry or a related field.
- Authorization to perform all functions required of a recognized Rabbi.
- Recommendation from a local synagogue or Jewish community leader.
