As an Auto Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, negotiating, and resolving claims in accordance with policy provisions, business expectations, and jurisdictional requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Claims Investigation: Investigate and analyze claims of moderate technical complexity, gathering and evaluating evidence to determine the extent of damage or loss.
- Negotiation and Resolution: Negotiate with claimants and insureds to reach a fair and reasonable settlement, taking into account policy provisions and business expectations.
- Claim Data Management: Input and manage claim data, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the claims system.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Continuing Education: Maintain and secure state adjuster licenses and continuing education credits, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Experience: Prior 1-2 years of auto claims handling experience, with a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, with a focus on business, insurance, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
