Notion operates as an in-person company, requiring employees to be present in the office for two designated Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and encouraging a majority of in-office work throughout the week.
Role Overview:- Enhance product adoption, retention, and growth: Fortune 500 companies leverage Notion for extensive team operations, while individuals can utilize it for personal tasks like note-taking and photo sharing.
- Act as a trusted advisor and product specialist: Conduct training sessions, onboarding processes, and collaborative workshops to educate clients and explore new applications of Notion.
- Contribute to the development of Customer Success at Notion: As an early member of our sales team, your insights will help shape our approach.
- Influence product direction: Engage with clients to gather feedback that informs our product development and enhancements.
- Advance your professional skills: Work alongside a high-performing team to tackle significant challenges and achieve remarkable results.
- Oversee onboarding, engagement, utilization, and growth within Notion's customer base by managing specific accounts.
- Identify clients who may not be fully leveraging our product and proactively develop action plans to support their success.
- Collaborate with the Account Management team on key Mid-Market accounts to broaden use cases and enhance customer loyalty.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our product to assist clients in achieving their business objectives.
- Work with the Sales team to ensure successful renewals and expansions.
- Innovate and refine Customer Success initiatives to retain and grow the customer base while minimizing churn.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion when beneficial for the client.
- Document and disseminate key insights and learnings within the broader Notion organization.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management.
- Proven ability to develop Customer Success playbooks and processes based on insights.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to creatively address customer challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience as an early hire in a rapidly growing startup.
- Strong technical skills.
- Familiarity with Notion.

Notion offers competitive compensation, equity, and benefits. Compensation for this role will be determined based on various factors, including location, role complexity, and the candidate's experience. For positions based in San Francisco, the estimated total on-target earnings range for this role is $140,000-$170,000.
