Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting, working closely with our finance team to prepare and analyze reports for the business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial practices
- Assist with financial analysis and capacity activities, including data analysis and budgeting
- Distribute monthly operations reports and participate in monthly operations calls
- Analyze data to inform financial decisions and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Perform month-end close duties and analyze balance sheet accounts
- Support budget and forecast activities, and generate key business performance metrics
- Leverage systems, reports, and data to build analytical models and drive business insights
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a degree focus in Accounting or Finance
- Completed at least 2 years of school
