Student Attendance Coordinator

Employment Type:
Part-Time

Compensation:
$17/hour


The Student Attendance Coordinator collaborates closely with the Site Supervisor and engages with parents and Think Together personnel to guarantee that students are signed out of the program in a secure, thorough, and precise manner.

In this role, you will be stationed at a local educational facility and work alongside the Site Supervisor to manage and oversee the collection of attendance records that support Think Together initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, recording sign-out times, securing parent signatures, organizing attendance information, and ensuring the accuracy of attendance data.

Please note that responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Secure parent signatures and document checkout times daily as parents arrive to pick up their children (ensuring integrity, timeliness, accuracy, and completeness).


2. Confirm that each parent or guardian checking out a student is listed on the student registration form as an authorized individual to collect the child.


3. Organize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to meet critical deadlines and ensure work is completed accurately and timely.


4. Document necessary information regarding student pickups and accurately complete Early Release Forms.


5. Compile and verify the number of present students and absences at the end of each day before submitting all attendance documentation to the Site Supervisor.


6. Adhere to strict attendance and punctuality standards.


7. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace and reception area at all times.


8. Greet callers and visitors, providing a welcoming first impression of the organization.


9. Uphold the highest level of confidentiality regarding student, staff, and management matters.


10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Some college education preferred.

Experience in data management is beneficial.

Strong ability to identify issues and escalate them to the appropriate levels.

Must successfully complete Live Scan (fingerprinting), Background Check, and Tuberculosis Test.

Previous office experience is preferred.

Bilingual in Spanish is required.
