Position Overview:

The CENTECH GROUP, Inc. is in search of a Tier II Client Service Technician to deliver comprehensive Information Technology Services support. The ideal candidate will ensure prompt, proactive, and high-quality communication and technical services to various units and directorates.

The selected individual is expected to be a self-motivated professional who can quickly adapt and work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide both remote and on-site support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows 10, and Microsoft Teams/Office 365.
  • Verify system access permissions for specific networks.
  • Execute hardware installations and implementations.
  • Resolve software installation challenges and related issues.
  • Manage password resets and account creation.
  • Assist users with network and desktop hardware/software issues.
  • Diagnose technical problems and propose or implement effective solutions.
  • Create and manage email accounts, and update statuses in Active Directory.
  • Support various U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) networks across different security classifications.
  • Facilitate video teleconferencing (VTC) setup, operation, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Information Assurance (IA) technology, with a valid Secret clearance.
  • Possession of 8570 IAT Level II Certification in accordance with the Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.
  • Experience with Air Force approved Standard Desktop Configurations (SDC), including familiarity with Windows 7/8/10 and Microsoft Office versions.
  • Knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, server hardware, software platforms, and related support tools.
  • Experience in managing daily configuration and operation of software environments and hardware/operating systems.
  • Experience with mobile device support, including laptops, tablets, PDAs, and smartphones.
  • Ability to assess potential information assurance security risks and implement corrective measures.
  • Familiarity with Video Teleconference projection systems and associated software to ensure operational readiness.
  • Experience in collaborating with external agencies to resolve technical issues affecting users.
