About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work one-on-one with children and families with autism to implement learning programs, collect data on target behaviors, communicate with stakeholders, maintain client confidentiality, and regularly meet with their direct leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans with the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children with autism
  • Collect data on target behaviors and communicate with stakeholders
  • Maintain client confidentiality and regularly meet with direct leaders

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with children ages 0-18 years in a daycare or classroom setting
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working one-on-one with clients in a behavioral health environment
  • A passion for helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives
  • Patience and compassion with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the past year)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
