Job DescriptionAdjunct Faculty Opportunity
We are seeking applications for adjunct faculty in Healthcare Administration at the College of Health Sciences. This position is ideal for a Healthcare Administration professional who wants to teach introductory level courses to new students.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate level courses in face-to-face and virtual modalities, with potential to include graduate courses.
- Participate in ongoing development, assessment, and improvement activities to maintain program quality and integrity.
- Provide instruction with a focus on teaching and learning to ensure students meet course outcomes and classroom objectives.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching and facilitation skills.
- Support campus-wide initiatives for recruitment, retention, and graduation goal attainment.
Requirements
- Preferred Experience: Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in diverse academic programs.
- Minimum of one year of teaching experience at the college/university level.
- Commitment to undergraduate education and student success.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively interact with various parties.
Essential Experience:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in healthcare practice, evaluation, and/or research.
- Familiarity with the healthcare landscape.
