The successful candidate will possess over a decade of hands-on experience in the HVAC field, particularly with large-scale equipment such as chillers, boilers, VRFs, and substantial tonnage package units. This role is crucial for the effective management of technician teams and administrative staff, ensuring profitability, revenue enhancement, adherence to safety protocols, and the provision of essential training and guidance to dispatch coordinators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage medium to large teams of HVAC commercial service technicians and administrative personnel, ensuring peak performance and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee all facets of the service department's operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and ensuring the efficient delivery of services.
- Formulate and execute strategies aimed at driving profitability and revenue growth while upholding superior service quality.
- Guarantee compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices, promoting a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Deliver training and mentorship to dispatch coordinators, fostering a knowledgeable and competent support team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC service, with a focus on large-scale equipment (chillers, boilers, VRFs, large tonnage package units).
- Demonstrated experience in managing medium to large teams of technicians and administrative staff within the commercial HVAC industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, with the capability to troubleshoot and guide teams through complex equipment challenges.
- Must have a stable work history in the HVAC sector.
- Experience in managing departmental budgets, profit and loss statements, and strategies for revenue generation.
