Job Summary
PM Pediatric Care is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents with common conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and conduct disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments using evidence-based practices to inform treatment plans.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities to support patients' mental health and well-being.
- Collaborate with our care team to develop and implement treatment plans that address patients' unique needs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community mental health providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Monitor patient progress and quality of care, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Work closely with patients, families, and the care team to overcome obstacles and achieve treatment goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices by attending training sessions and conferences.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA).
- Psychologist license in the state(s) practicing.
- At least 2 years of experience post-licensure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
- Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care and experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents.
- Previous experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and location. PM Pediatric Care offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
