Job OpportunityArchitectural Engineering Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Lighting Designer to join our team in Edwards, Colorado. As a member of our MEP consulting firm, you will work on design and planning for construction in mountain resort communities.Responsibilities
  • Provide AutoCAD drafting and design services.
  • Perform electrical load calculations and lighting level calculations.
  • Design and engineer power systems and lighting systems.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to conceptualize designs.
  • Review and check drawings to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with National Electrical Code, Energy Code, and local code requirements.
  • Evaluate existing systems and conduct accurate field observations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, contractors, and vendors.
  • Attend meetings to gather information for project management.
  • Develop and edit company-written specifications, including sequences of operation.
  • Manage the production of construction documents and specifications within budget.
  • Write technical reports, correspondence, and proposals that demonstrate expertise and sincerity.
