- Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
- Display proficiency in various categories, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related duties.
- Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
- Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
- Display working knowledge of engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance and energy management.
- Perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment as needed.
