Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and buildings.
  • Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Display proficiency in various categories, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related duties.
  • Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
  • Display working knowledge of engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance and energy management.
  • Perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment as needed.
